The One Wing Foundation’s Care Boxes

Western Extrusions

Offering extrusion, finishing, fabrication, packaging, and shipping services to its clients, Western Extrusions has established its reputation as one of the leading aluminum extrusion producers in the United States. Operating from its base in Carrollton, Texas, Western Extrusions maintains a commitment to the quality of its work that is equaled by its commitment to community. Western Extrusions supports many charitable organizations, including the One Wing Foundation (OWF).

Supporting bereaved parents through miscarriage and infant loss, OWF offers Care Boxes to support parents through the most trying times. Each Care Box is made possible by a $50 donation from foundation supporters and includes a number of items, including a copy of Nancy Guthrie’s “The One Year Book of Hope”, tissues, milk tea, and a Moleskine journal. Further, each box also includes moisturizers, lip shields, and eye creams supplied by Rodan and Fields.

The purpose of Care Boxes is to demonstrate to bereaved parents that people are still thinking about them. The boxes can be mailed to any location in the continental United States.
